Abstract

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is an injury to the brain caused by external forces, such as impact, falls, or accidents, which can result in damage to brain tissue. This disease has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients. This study aims to identify factors that affect the quality of life of patients post-head injury. This research study uses an analytical observational design with a retrospective cohort approach. A total of 62 respondents were sampled using purposive sampling techniques. Based on the research results, there was no significant relationship between age, gender, occupation, education level, and health insurance with the quality of life of patients post-head injury. Thus, it is important to improve education for patients and families regarding the importance of rehabilitation after head injury to enhance quality of life.
